The creative industries are of enormous importance in the UK and are characterised by quality and innovation. So I am particularly delighted that ArtsTaunton is sponsoring this important award for the first time this year. Not least because Taunton Deane has a gifted and vibrant arts community which contributes so much to the life and wellbeing of the district.
Tell us how your work/project/initiative has made an impact on the people of Taunton Deane?
Evidence you may consider including should it be pertinent to your application:
- How have you engaged with the people of Taunton Deane and what have been the benefits derived? Include also any information on inclusivity.

As organisers of the award, we are delighted that ArtsTaunton have come forward to sponsor this very important award; our vibrant arts scene is very active in supporting our local economy and creating all the resulting public benefits that you would expect.
